Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. By making a booking, the lead passenger confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all members of their party.

2. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • A completed booking request has been received
  • The required deposit has been paid
  • Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. has issued written confirmation.

Until confirmation is issued, prices and availability are subject to change.

3. Deposits and Final Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 35% (or such amount advised at the time of booking) is required to secure the reservation.
  • Full payment must be received no later than 16 weeks prior to arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Bookings made within 16 weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, with deposits forfeited.

4. Pricing

Prices are quoted in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated. Prices include only those services specifically listed in the booking confirmation. Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. reserves the right to amend prices due to:

  • Currency fluctuations
  • Government taxes or levies
  • Supplier price increases
  • Fuel or transportation surcharges
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Should any increase be significant, customers will be notified before final payment.

5. Cancellations by the Customer

All cancellations must be made in writing to Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. – email travel@irelandgolf.com

Cancellation charges are:

No refunds will be given for unused services after travel has commenced.

  • Should the group or an individual member of the group not take part in an element of the planned itinerary, for example choose not to play golf due to poor weather conditions despite course being open for play or miss tee time(s) due to flight delays, no refunds will apply.
  • Should the number of participants within a group reduce (partial cancellation of the group) up to 16 weeks before the first day of arrival, the deposit paid for that person plus any handling fees is non-refundable. However, the option to replace that participant by another individual may be organized by the group.
  • Should the number of participants within a group reduce (partial cancellation of the group), less than 16 weeks before the first day of arrival, 100% of the tour cost for that person plus any handling fees is non-refundable. However, the option to replace that participant by another may be organized by the group.
  • Should the number of participants within the group reduce and they are not replaced, the cost per person of the remaining participants may increase due to the transportation and accommodation costs being redistributed amongst the smaller number of guests travelling.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests to amend bookings will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed. Changes may incur:

  • Administrative fees
  • Supplier amendment fees
  • Any additional costs resulting from the change.

7. Cancellations or Changes by Ireland Golf Travel Ltd.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to alter or cancel arrangements due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Golf course closures
  • Supplier insolvency
  • Government restrictions
  • Force majeure events.

Where possible, we will offer:

  • A suitable alternative
  • A credit towards future travel
  • A refund of monies paid for services that cannot be provided.

Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid to us for the affected services.

8. Golf Tee Times

Requested tee times are subject to availability and final confirmation by the relevant golf clubs. Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. cannot guarantee specific tee times unless confirmed in writing.

Golf clubs reserve the right to alter tee times due to tournaments, maintenance, weather, or operational requirements.

9. Accommodation

Accommodation services are provided by third party suppliers and standards are determined by the individual hotel or property.

Accommodation special requests, including room type, views, or adjoining rooms, can be passed on by Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. to accommodation suppliers but cannot be guaranteed unless specifically confirmed.

10. Transportation

Where transportation is included:

Car Rental:

  • Car Rental services are provided by third party suppliers. Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. acts solely as a booking intermediary and accepts no liability for the performance, operation or terms imposed by the rental provider.
  • Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and safety requirements.
  • Drivers hiring self-drive vehicles must possess a valid driving licence and satisfy the rental company’s requirements.
  • In the Republic of Ireland, you must be aged 25 or over to rent a car and 28 or over to rent a premium vehicle.
  • Additional insurance, fuel charges and optional extras may be payable directly to the supplier.

Chauffeur-Driven Vehicle Terms:

  • Chauffeur- Driven Vehicle services are provided by third party suppliers. Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. acts solely as a booking intermediary and accepts no liability for the performance, operation or terms imposed by the rental provider.
  • While every effort will be made to operate transfers according to itinerary, Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. shall not be liable for delays arising from traffic conditions, weather events, vehicle breakdown, acts of third-party suppliers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
  • All chauffeur driven services operate in accordance with applicable road transport legislation, including driver working time, driving hour and mandatory rest period requirements. For the safety of passengers and drivers, itineraries, departure times and journey durations may be adjusted where necessary to ensure compliance. Additional waiting time, unscheduled stops or itinerary changes requested during travel may not always be possible and may incur additional charges where feasible.

11. Caddie Requests

Requests for caddies can be submitted by Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. on behalf of clients. However, caddie availability cannot be guaranteed and remains subject to confirmation by the relevant golf course.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, caddie fees, gratuities and any related charges are payable directly by clients to the golf course or caddie on the day of play.

12. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers and should include cover for:

  • Cancellation
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal belongings
  • Travel delays
  • Golf equipment
  • Personal liability.

Ireland Golf Travel Ltd accepts no responsibility for losses that could reasonably have been covered by appropriate insurance.

13. Passports and Travel Documentation

Customers are responsible for ensuring they possess:

  • Valid passports
  • Required visas
  • Health documentation
  • Any other travel requirements applicable to their journey.

Failure to comply with entry requirements shall be the responsibility of the traveller.

14. Customer Conduct

Customers are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, suppliers, other guests, and golf clubs.

We reserve the right to terminate arrangements without refund where a traveller’s behaviour is dangerous, abusive, unlawful, or causes significant disruption.

15. Limitation of Liability

Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. acts as a booking agent for accommodation providers, golf clubs, transport providers, and other suppliers.

We are not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of independent suppliers
  • Loss of enjoyment
  • Personal injury or property damage except where caused by our negligence
  • Delays resulting from weather, traffic, strikes, or events beyond our control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking except where prohibited by law.

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations where performance is prevented by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Pandemics
  • Government action
  • Industrial disputes
  • Severe weather
  • Other extraordinary circumstances.

17. Complaints

Any issue during travel should be reported immediately to both:

  • The relevant supplier
  • Ireland Golf Travel Ltd. at travel@irelandgolf.com

to allow an opportunity for resolution.

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 28 days of completion of travel.
