Tralee Golf Club
Tralee Golf Club was designed and build by Arnold Palmer. It represents a true nirvana for the intrepid golfer with a point to prove! It is no surprise that this course has been widely acclaimed as one of the finest golf links courses in the world. However, there is much more to Tralee Golf Club than the important business of playing golf! The facilities at this club are second to none.
Spacious dressing rooms with specially designed shower areas and steam rooms are available. That’s right – if you need to loosen up after 18 holes you can do so with us. We have a bar and restaurant – which takes care of that all important 19th hole! And with the weather we sometimes have it’s great to have an easy escape.
Locker facilities and towels are a part of our service, which saves you time and hassle, especially when you are on one of our Irish Golf Tours. We have a shop which carries a large range of products – lots of leading labels here for all your golfing needs! We also have a caddie service – just ask in the shop or bar and you will be given all the details you need. Their local knowledge is a must for first time players of the course.
Other facilities include:
Internet Access
Available for you to check your e-mail or browse the internet.
Putting Green
Our 9 hole putting green in front of the clubhouse will give you a good feel for the putting surface before you set out on your round of golf.
Practice Area
The practice area will allow you to loosen up and appraise the conditions. Yardage markers are placed at intervals so you can see how far you are hitting that 6 iron.
Eating and Drinking and Relaxing
Bar & Restaurant
Mentioned once already, but well worth another mention! Our bar & restaurant must have one of the most amazing views in any golf clubhouse you can think of. The Bar offers a friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. A great pint of Guinness can be enjoyed whilst you relax and discuss your next round – of golf or Guinness! A lot of the holes can be seen through the wall of glass which overlooks the course. The restaurant offers a range of meals produced with the finest of local produce.
The balcony is a great place to relax. You can enjoy lunch and a drink on a summer day and get some fresh air. There is also a lounge room with a TV to help you keep an eye on the scores from the majors or other sports you love. Internet access is available for checking e-mail messages and browsing the web.

Ballybunion Golf Course
Ballybunion Golf Course in one of our favourites! The Team at Ireland Golf Travel have been playing here for years. And yet, we do not tire of it. The Old Course at Ballybuinion has been with us for nearly 140 years. And that’s a promise! Blue Tees are 6,802 yards, White Tees are 6,366 yards and Ladies Tees are 5,474. The par for men is 71 and for ladies it is 74.
If you take the Cashen Course you will encounter a much newer and more modern course. The Cashen Course dates to around 1984 and differs from the Old Course in a number of ways. Robert Trent Jones Senior designed this course so many of you will know what to expect! Blue Tees are 6,318 yards, White Tees just 5,945 and Ladies Tees are 5,055. Par for men is 72 while for Ladies it is also 72. I can see this one starting some heated discussions!
